Why does the fan vibrate during operation?

Potential Cause: The blade could be damaged, or the fan could be installed improperly.

Solution: Inspect and ensure the fan is installed according to user manual. If vibration persists, stop operation and bring the unit to Authorized Service Agent for checks and proper set up.

Why do the guard ring and fan blades break easily when using in kitchens or cooking areas?

Potential Cause: - Deterioration of fan blades and guards increase due to high heat and oil in kitchens. (Environmental stress crack)

Solution: Bring the unit to Authorized Service Agent for repair of blades and guard. Avoid environmental stress crack by placing the unit away from kitchens and cooking areas. We recommend the purchase of Sona Power Fan with aluminium blades for use in such environments.

Why did the fan blade break?

Potential Cause: The plastic of the blade deteriorates over time.

Solution: Replace the blade according to the model of the unit. Please be informed, the purchasing of a new blade is required.

Why is the fan blade found with hair line cracks during washing and dismantling?

Potential Cause: Due to impact.

Solution: Replace with a new blade. Please be informed, the purchasing of a new blade is required.

Why did the fan blade break and the fan guard detach?

Potential Cause: Fan guard or guarding ring was not properly secured or fixed.

Solution: Replace the broken blade with a new blade. When setting up the fan, ensure all fan guard clips are secured. Please be informed, the purchasing of a new blade is required.

Why did the Air Cooler leak?

Potential Cause: Water tank is over filled.

Solution: Stop operation and remove excess water above "MAX" mark. Ensure water is not filled above “MAX” mark.

Why did the water turn yellow colour on initial use?

Potential Cause: Colour fasts from the friendly environmental honeycomb filter.

Solution: Water colour will be clean after a few cycles.

Why is the Air Cooler emitting noises?

Potential Cause: The motor or fan could be faulty.

Solution: Stop operation and bring it to Authorized Serving Centre for checks and repairs.

Why is there no power supply when switched on?

Potential Cause: The safety fuse is faulty.

Solution: Bring the unit to Authorised Serving Centre for the repair of safety fuse plug.

Why is the panel not functioning?

Potential Cause: The buttons are faulty.

Solution: Bring the unit to Authorised Serving Centre for checks and repairs.

Why is the Air Pot continuously boiling, unable to keep warm, or unable to auto re-boil?

Potential Cause: The thermostat is faulty.

Solution: Bring the unit to Authorised Serving Centre for checks and repairs.

Why is the Air Pot unable to dispense water when pressed?

Potential Cause: Due to the production of “pump air” during boiling process.

Solution: Allow the Air Pot to completely boil, open the cover to release “pump air”. Close the cover and dispense water thereafter.

Why did the oven trip when switched on?

Potential Cause: The water tank is over filled.

Solution:Bring the oven to Authorised Servicing Centre for the repair of the heating element.

Why is there no power when switched on?

Potential Cause: The safety fuse plug could be faulty.

Solution:Bring the oven to Authorised Serving Centre for safety fuse plug repair.

Why does the new oven have a strange smell?

Potential Cause: The nature of the material during production.

Solution:For the initial use, switch on the oven to the maximum temperature for about 30 minutes to expel the air and the smell.

Why is the timer function unable to be selected?

Potential Cause: The switch could be faulty due to wear and tear.

Why is the unit emitting noise?

Why did the unit switch off automatically?

Potential Cause: The unit safety protection is activated.

Solution: Allow the unit to cool about 5 to 10 minutes, and switch on again. If persists, bring the unit to Authorised Serving Centre for checks and repairs.
