Why is the opening of the lid difficult?

Potential Cause: Pressure built up inside the cooker can cause the opening of lid to be difficult.

Solution: Allow a cooling period of 10 minutes after cooking. Carefully release the internal pressure by turning the steam release handle 1/3 at a time. Open the lid after the pressure is completely released.

Why is the float valve stuck during cooking?

Potential Cause: Cooking in process.

Solution: The float valve will pop during cooking process. It is normal to lock and secure the pressure during cooking.

Why does steam leak from the side of the lid?

Potential Cause: There are a number of potential causes to steam leaking from the side of the lid:

a) No sealing ring.

b) Sealing ring is damaged.

c) Food debris attached to the sealing ring.

Why is steam continuously coming out from the exhaust valve?

Potential Cause: There are a couple of potential causes to steam constantly coming out from the exhaust valve:

a) Steam release handle is not in sealing position.

b) Failing of pressure control.

Solution: The following solutions respectively correspond to the potential causes above:

a) Turn the release handle to the sealing position.

b) Unplug the unit and bring it to Authorized Servicing Center for checks and replacement (purchase required).

Why does the LED display panel flash "CODE"?

Potential Cause: There are a number of potential causes to the appearance of "CODE" on LED display panel:

a) C1 CODE: Faulty temperature sensor (unable to detect).

b) C2 CODE: Faulty temperature sensor (short circuited).

c) C5 CODE: Temperature is too high due to missing or empty inner pot.

d) C6 CODE: Faulty pressure sensor.

Solution: The following solutions respectively correspond to the potential causes above:

a) Unplug the unit and bring it to Authorized Servicing Centre for checks and replacement (purchase required).

b) Unplug the unit and bring it to Authorized Servicing Centre for checks and replacement (purchase required).
